In the summer of 2007, Trollinger Construction teamed up with Architecture for Health to provide a design-build facility solution to the needs of Dr. Kim Brooks and her growing Obstetrics & Gynecology practice. The result of that effort is the facility that you are visiting today. The practice had already made significant forward thinking committments toward electronic medical records and other state of the art medical technologies. The contemporary approach to the entry tower and metal roof elements were in direct response to Dr. Brooks desire that the building reflect her forward thinking approach to providing the best health care services possible.
The heart of the design from a planning standpoint is the central physician/nurse work areas where all the service providers can stay in close and easy communication with one another. The rest of the facility truly revolves around this, so that the patients are never very far away from this hub.
