This project for a growing dermatology/dermatological surgery practice in DeLand Florida is sized for growth to 2 physicians plus 4 physician assistants. Building areas include 8 large exam rooms plus 2 additional minor procedure rooms. Business areas are designed for expansion yet with an eye on keeping staff growth lean. The center has been designed to accommodate the added equipment for Mohs surgery in the future should that become a requirement. All of this is accomodated in 5,955 s.f.
Located in this quaint but growing metropolis the design for this new medical practice facility utilizes comfortable low sloping roofs, horizontal lines and traditional forms reminiscent of the area. The combination of brick, cast stone and stucco with reasonable fenestration, provide an inviting and comfortable image and atmosphere for patients.
