Upstate Pain Management and Surgery Center
Another full services project for AFH, this ASC (Ambulatory Surgical Facility) was completed in September, 2002.
This project for a Pain Management Specialist is a fully functional Ambulatory Surgical Facility and is- be licensed by the state. Building areas include 2 operating rooms plus 2 additional rooms that double as procedure/step-down recovery areas as well as a central 5 bay recovery area. The center and site are designed for future expansion to 2 additional operatories. The gross area of the center which was completed in 2002 is only 7,235 s.f.
Located in a residential scale medical park, the design for this new Ambulatory Surgery Center takes a conservative yet solid approach utilizing brick and aluminum as the major exterior components for low maintenance. The facility's fully equipped and sophisticated systems required for surgical environments are hidden beneath it's unimposing, low sloping hip roof lines.
